A New atmosphere for a new semester；New knowledge and new hopes; New looks with new ideas；New goals as well as new imaginations.

旧岁又添几个喜，新年更上一层楼。花灯如昼岭南秀，携手同心CIEO情！在新的一年开始之际，为使孩子们感受春节热闹喜庆的气氛，萌发爱集体、爱校园的美好情感。CIEO旗下两所外国语学校、二十几所幼儿园举行了“开心回校园，甜蜜闹元宵”的开学典礼，一张张甜蜜的笑脸，就知道此刻的相聚是我们多么期待，多么幸福的瞬间！

We wanted to open the new year with a bang, bringing lively, spirited celebration for the Spring Festival to our loving campuses.  To share with our students this joy of the New Year our two foreign language schools over twenty of our kindergartens all held opening ceremonies , “Happy Back to School; Sweet Lantern Festival.” Have a look at the smiling faces here and share in the happiness. 

外国语学校篇

Canadian Foreign Language Schools

青山环绕，红墙绿草，校园风景妙；一问一答，一颦一笑，课堂有味道；美蔬佳肴，果品饮料，食堂如家好。

Our beautiful campus, like a castle with its resplendent towers, red walls and lush grass; classes featuring interesting questions answered with a smile.  Fresh produce, great recipes and tasty juice drinks make are canteens as good as home.

雅居乐加拿达外国语学校(CLS-A)

一年之计在于春，一日之计在于晨。迎着晨曦，踏着礼乐，在中外教老师的热情拥抱下以及卡通萌宠的迎接下，领红包、读新书、道祝福，贺新岁，迈入开学典礼，接受表彰和荣誉，忆往昔收获满满，展未来梦想飞扬。

进入新的学期，每个心灵都怀抱着自己的希望，心向阳光，行向远方，新学期，新开始，吹响新号角，开创新精彩，让我们共同创造美好的明天，做新时代的追梦人！从今天起，做一个理智创新好学之人，关心学习和身体，多读书，勤锻炼，多思考，勇创新，新年我有一个目标，我要为之奋斗，勇往直前！

It’s been said that “a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”  Open your eyes for knowledge, open your mind for exploration, open your wings for flight to soar in the sky of understanding to make progress through every activity and grow happily in the CLS-C family.

剑桥郡加拿达外国语学校(CLS-C)

殷殷期望父母恩，寸草之心报春晖。芳草茵茵吐新绿，春雨绵绵润校园，财神迎接入校园。中外校长率领中外教老师们热忱欢迎孩子们返校，而中外财神和四个卡通萌宠则是孩子们合影的热门对象，孩子们开心地收到了中方老师准备的象征吉祥幸运的新春红包以及祝福字条。

隆重的开学典礼和精彩的校队爵士舞表演后，意味着希望孩子们在新的学期将做一个会规划、爱学习、会交流、有礼貌、敢创新的绅士淑女，去迈入新的知识殿堂！

With a warm welcome from their teachers, students stepped cheerfully through the halls of knowledge and into their classrooms.  We wish for everyone to have a fresh beginning, new style and new harvest of experiences in the New Year.

幼儿园篇

Kindergartens

喜庆的锣鼓，欢腾的醒狮，喜庆的红包，精彩的表演，六六大顺抽大奖，红红火火创辉煌。一大早，CIEO旗下各幼儿园领导及全体班主任迎着淅淅沥沥的雨滴迎接每一个孩子的到来，到处洋溢着欢乐的气氛，“舞狮”小达人，激励着孩子们积极、进取、奋发、向上，幼儿园到处洋溢着喜庆吉祥，生机盎然的欢快气氛。

Opening with gongs and drums we began the day with a jubilant lion dance. Our Chinese and Foreign teachers waited for our children, early in the morning, before we took charge of our family and greeted each child. There were bright smiles from both children and teachers on this beautiful day and the atmosphere was quite happy since it had been a long time since last we were together.

孩子们回到校园，怀揣梦想，充满喜悦，在这温暖和谐的开学季，他们为欢度元宵传统佳节而师生同庆，其乐融融。最幸福的事，是有所期待，最真挚的情，是心怀感恩。在爱的节日，融合教育就是爱的理念，以爱之名，留住这一刻幸福时光。

Children returned to the campus, full of joy and dreams, for this warm, harmonious opening season. We celebrated the traditions of the Lantern Festival with the happiest of expectations and the sincerest feelings of gratitude for this festival of love.  Our teachers and students celebrated together in this moment of joy.

在此，CIEO祝全体师生家长朋友元宵快乐！元宵节，愿大家烦恼抛到九"霄"云外，所有郁闷冰"消"雪释，快乐幸福此"消"彼涨，生活状态"潇潇"洒洒，坏习惯"消"失得无影无踪，元宵节快乐。

We wish all our teachers and students a happy Lantern Festival and a fruitful new semester! Let's write a brilliant new chapter in our new term.

新学期CIEO会一如既往对学生负责，保持务实的工作态度，不断学习，不断研究，进一步用行动去深化教育创新，立足本土，开启世界，给孩子无限可能，培养具有世界视野的国际公民，站在世界的舞台上去讲述中国的育人故事！

CIEO will, as always, be responsible to students in the new semester, maintaining a rational working attitude and keeping on studying to further deepen our educational innovation through action. CIEO will focus itself on the mainland and open up the world to offer kids unlimited possibilities and train international citizens with a world vision who tell the story of Chinese education on the world stage.
