广州市番禺区剑桥郡加拿达外国语学校 

  8月25日上午，广州市番禺区剑桥郡加拿达外国语学校外籍教师教材培训会在该校会议室如火如荼地进行。
  此次培训旨在给外籍教师在教材的使用上提供更多的指引和支持，以进一步提升外教课堂的教学效率以及外籍教师的教研水平，提高学生对国际课程的学习能力及掌握程度。

  据悉，此次培训邀请了麦格劳-希尔国际出版公司（Mc Graw Hill Education）的课程顾问Alan Davis。培训会上，Alan Davis为外籍教师详细解说K-G6 Wonders系列教材的整体架构、配套的教辅材料、其它支持性资源以及获取途径。

  剑桥郡加拿达外国语学校外籍教师是一个积极探索、善于研究的学习型团队。培训期间，外籍教师们认真听取Alan Davis的培训内容，及时做笔记，多次提出疑问并与Alan Davis进行深度探讨及交流。  

  新学期，剑桥郡加拿达外国语学校学生将人手一本教材，并辅以适当的练习。外教们将会以教材为载体，在课堂中巧用多种教学方法，引导孩子学习英语，理解和对比不同的文化，习得多元文化知识，涵养国际公民素质能力，并顺利融入国际课程环境。(完)

English Textbook Training Conference of Foreign Teachers Escorting The International Curriculum
Canadian Foreign Language School-Cambridgeshire (CLS-C)

An intensive teaching training was held for )foreign teachers in Canadian Foreign Language School-Cambridgeshire (CLS-C) on August 25. This training was to provide foreign teachers with more guide and support in using of the textbooks so that they can make improvements in class and promote students’ learning of international courses.

During the training, Alan Davis, the curriculum consultant, from Mc Graw Hill Education, explicated the structure of the textbooks, teaching materials, supporting resources and demonstrated ways of getting them.

CLS-C foreign teachers are a learning-oriented team of active in exploring and good at researching. During the training, they listened carefully ,took notes and discussed with Alan Davis about their questions.

In the following new term, every student will get a new Mc Graw Hill textbook and will be assigned a proper amount of practice. CLS-C foreign teachers will teach the students English as well as getting to know different cultures ，and promote understanding and contrast , improve the quality of international citizens and lead the students into an international curriculum world in various ways with the carrier of the textbooks.
