加拿达少儿英文培训学校致力于发展趣味户外课，旨在让学生通过实际情境了解主题课的相关知识，从而提高学生们学习英语的兴趣以及他们的动手能力。

东山分校---制作美味Pizza

    东山分校的孩子们跟着外教一起到一家手工DIY美食店制作Pizza，大家非常认真地学习Pizza的历史来源，各种材料名称以及制作步骤。在准备面饼部分，我们的家长非常细心地帮孩子们处理面饼。然后孩子们把培根，洋葱，玉米，青豆均匀地铺在面饼上，再洒满美味的芝士，看着就非常诱人！制作完成后，只需要放进烤炉10分钟，就可以享用咯！噔噔噔~阵阵芝士香味飘出，服务员把Pizza端出来的时候，妈妈们和孩子们一阵欢呼，对第一次成功制作出的Pizza感到十分自豪。

淘金分校---学习传统扎染手工艺

    淘金分校的孩子在老师的带领下学习传统的扎染手工艺，在布料上扎染出自己想要的图案。在课程开始之前，我们先教孩子们了解与扎染相关的单词，让他们知道相关物品材料的作用与英语表达。引导孩子们进入状态后，我们再组织孩子们到户外课堂学习扎染。               

                        
1.准备棉线绳或者橡皮筋，用来捆扎需扎染的图案。         

2.把扎好图案的布料放进染料中，保持小火沸腾状态，煮染五分钟左右。注意煮染时不停地翻动，以免布料着色不均匀。

3.把煮完后的布料拿去冲洗干净。         

4.去掉扎染布料的棉线绳或者橡皮筋，放平布料直 到晾干为止。

    该户外课趣味性强，家长和孩子融入其中，不仅学习了单词,还发挥各自的创造力完成了一份特别的作品，期待下次还有这样的课程!
                   
江南分校---麦当劳里学点餐

 
    在外教和中教的组织下，江南分校B8班的每一个学生都需要用英文进行点餐。服务员询问学生：“What do you want to order？”，学生回答：“I want to order.......”在这次户外课中，学生们表现得非常棒。他们能够在公共区域，运用自己所学的内容，勇敢地表达出自己想要的食品。

    这次户外课体现了学生在学校的学习成果，增加了学生对学习英语的兴趣。同时，也增强了学生对于英语学习的自信心和自豪感，以及家长对我们学校教学方式的认同感。相信学生已体会到学习英语的乐趣，并乐意把英语运用于生活之中。

    我们坚持用独特而先进的教学理念和教学方式，培养更多优秀的人才。希望学生们在英语学习中不断地进步，真正做到把英语作为自己的第二母语。（完）

Outdoor Classes in Canadian International Kids’ English School

Dongshan ---  Pizza Making

On May 13th, our kids went to a Food DIY store to make Pizza with Teacher Jeff. Everybody was very serious about learning how to make pizza. They learned the history of Pizza and the materials and the steps for how to make one. Our parents were nice enough to help our kids make the pizza crust. They put ham, corn, onions, green beans on the bread and finished with yummy cheese on top of it all. It looked amazing!  After making a pizza, they put it in the oven to bake for 10 minutes, then they ate their pizza. It really smelled great! Parents were happy with their kids and our pizza-making was a great success!

Taojin – Tie Dye

Led by foreign teachers, kids from Taojin learned the traditional handicraft of tie dying.

Before class, foreign teachers taught students needed vocabulary so the children could understand how to express themselves in English. Then, teachers organized students in the classroom where they started their tie dying.

Step 1：Prepare a thread or a rubber band to tie up the cloth

Step 2：Put the cloth into the dye to cook on low heat for about 5minutes. Continuously stir if necessary if you start to see uneven coloring

Step 3：Wash and clean the cloth after cooking

Step 4：Take off the rubber band to flatten the cloth until it dries

Jiangnan - Ordering in English

 Every student in B8 was asked to order in English during a trip to the local McDonald’s.  Students did very well, as they were able to utilize what they learned to express what they want in public.

The outdoor class was designed to reflect students' learning effect in school and to increase students' interest in learning English.  At the same time, it enhanced students' confidence and pride in learning English and their parents' recognition

of our school’s teaching methods. We believe that students can appreciate the fun of learning English, and then be willing to use it in daily life.

We hope that students will continue to make progress in English learning and become fully bi-lingual.
